I've made the decision to make Jesus the Lord of my life; I want to be baptized for the first time.
I have been baptized before; I would like to reaffirm my baptism.

Tell us why you are making this decision:
An important part of the baptism experience is sharing why you are taking this step. But don’t worry; you won’t need to say anything! We will read your brief statement for you as you are baptized.
Please write a couple of sentences explaining why you wanted to be baptized.
Some ideas of what to say: How did you come to make a commitment to Christ? What prompts you to be baptized now? Has God done something specific recently in your life that you want to celebrate?
A few guidelines:
Specific events are better than general statements (the more detail the better).
Speak in terms of “I”, not you (don’t try to teach, just share your story).
It’s best not to mention another church by denomination since we don’t want to be perceived as critical – if your story involves another church just mention “my previous church…” or “the church my family attended”.
It is also good not to mention an individuals' names unless you explain who they are, since people probably won’t know them.
